Vale Waste Neath is a trading name of Vale Waste Recycling Ltd, company number 16060849, registered office The Yard, Earlswood Estate, Jersey Marine, Neath SA10 6NG. These terms apply to every quotation, booking and collection.
Quotations are confirmed by the office as inc-VAT figures before any work is booked. Ladder prices for man and van collections are as published on the pricing page; quoted work such as skip hire, bin rounds and commercial contracts is confirmed on the callback.
Items listed as exempt or hazardous cannot travel in skips or skip bags. Where such items are included in a booking they are collected by van at the listed rates, or the customer is directed to a compliant specialist route.
Collection targets, including the aim to collect within 48 hours of booking, are targets and not guarantees; confirmed slots are agreed on the callback.
Nothing is taken online. Payment is arranged with the office when the price and slot are confirmed. If a load comes in smaller on the day than booked, the smaller ladder figure applies.
A skip placed on the public road needs a permit from the council for that road. As the skip owner we apply for the permit and include its fee and lead time in the quote; the customer is responsible for keeping the skip accessible and for not overloading it or placing exempt items in it.
Vale Waste Neath is a registered upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer with Natural Resources Wales (CBDU______). A waste transfer note or receipt is provided for every collection; business customers must keep waste transfer notes for two years.

Enquiry details, including name, contact number, email, postcode and the description of the job, are used solely to price, confirm and carry out the work requested, and are not sold or shared for marketing.
Records of completed jobs are retained as required for waste carrier documentation and accounting, then disposed of securely.

We process enquiry and booking details because they are necessary to take the steps you ask for before a contract and to perform it (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We keep records of completed jobs to meet legal obligations on waste transfer notes and accounting (Article 6(1)(c)). Any follow-up about a job you have booked relies on our legitimate interest in running the service (Article 6(1)(f)).
Enquiries are delivered to the office by an email service provider acting on our instructions. Waste transfer notes name the customer and the disposal site as the law requires. We do not sell or share your details for marketing.
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Waste transfer notes are kept for at least two years as the law requires and accounting records for six years, after which they are disposed of securely.
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by contacting the office. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
