Trade waste disposal is most of what our vans do on a weekday: offcuts and packaging from a fit-out, old boilers, radiators and pipework from a heating job, stripped cable and fittings from a rewire, and the green waste and timber a landscaping crew leaves behind. We collect from the site, from your yard or from the customer's drive, and we do the loading, so your crew stays on the tools.
Collections are quoted to the volume that leaves, on the same inc VAT ladder as every other load, and there is no skip permit to buy because nothing sits on the road. Plasterboard is collected on its own run, because gypsum has to be kept separate from mixed waste by law; tell the office if a job has board in it.
Every business in Wales has a duty of care for its waste under section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. That means transferring it only to an authorised person, describing it properly, and keeping the waste transfer note for at least two years so it can be produced on demand.
We provide the waste transfer note you must keep for every collection, showing what was taken, when, and where it went. Vale Waste Neath is registered with Natural Resources Wales as an upper tier waste carrier; the registration number is printed in the footer of every page and can be checked on the NRW public register. Hazardous items such as fridges and fluorescent tubes travel on a hazardous waste consignment note instead, which the office arranges.
Waste dumped on private land is the landowner's responsibility to clear, which is cold comfort when it turns up behind a unit or across a yard entrance overnight. We clear fly-tipped waste for businesses, landlords and land owners across Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea, photograph and document the load, and issue a waste transfer note so your records show it left lawfully.
The crew sorts what can be recovered and keeps anything hazardous apart for its own route. We do not remove asbestos; if it is suspected in a dumped load, we will say so and point you to licensed removal before anything else is touched.
