Every business has a duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to pass its waste only to a registered carrier and to keep a waste transfer note for each collection for two years. Vale Waste Neath is registered with Natural Resources Wales as an upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer, and a waste transfer note is provided for every collection; fridges and other hazardous items travel on a consignment note instead.
Since April 2024 the Workplace Recycling Regulations require every workplace in Wales to present paper and card, glass, metal, plastic and cartons, food waste over five kilograms a week, small electricals and unsold textiles separately from general waste. Separated recyclables cannot lawfully go to landfill or incineration and wood cannot go to landfill. Our bin, cardboard and glass rounds are built around those streams.
For a shop refit, an office move or a cleared back room, a man and van collection is often simpler than a skip: the crew loads, nothing sits on the pavement, and there is no council permit to arrange. Where a skip suits the site, we supply 4, 6 and 8 yard skips and handle the road permit.

Rounds run from our yard at Jersey Marine, beside junction 42 of the M4, so Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea are daily and Bridgend, the valleys and the coast are regular. Cardiff and further afield on request.
